DAX listing process is liberalised
Guidelines revised
The SC’s recognised-market amendments introduce a liberalised digital-asset listing framework, removing the prior SC concurrence requirement while placing assessment and approval responsibilities on operators. The revisions also strengthen areas including custody, segregation and reconciliation. The change is not an endorsement of every token an exchange lists.

Political agreement
EU negotiators reached political agreement on AI-rule changes, including revised high-risk application dates. Political agreement was the May milestone; formal adoption and entry into force followed later.

The Malaysian lens
Our Malaysian reading: regulatory flexibility increases the importance of operator judgement and records. Investors should ask about custody and listing diligence rather than assuming an asset has received a product-level regulator approval.
QUESTION TO ASK
Who approved the listing, on what evidence, and how are customer assets separated and reconciled?
Watch / next step
