The conditions for using MAATIN’s public information and resources.

1. Scope and project status

These terms apply to maatin.com’s public beta, administered by the Maatin project team. The project’s contracting legal entity, registered address and designated privacy contact have not yet been published. No paid service, confidential case intake or professional engagement is offered until those details and service-specific terms are provided. Contact the administration through Contact.

2. Information, not representation

Material is general information, not personalised legal, financial, investment or religious advice. Maatin is not a law firm, court, government body, regulator or licensed solicitor. Use does not create a lawyer-client relationship or legal privilege. Laws, procedures and applicability change; verify the current primary source and obtain qualified advice where necessary.

3. Responsible use

Use lawful, accurate and appropriately anonymised inputs. Do not upload confidential or sensitive files, infringe rights, evade controls, distribute harmful content, impersonate others or use outputs to fabricate evidence or deceive a court. You remain responsible for deadlines and decisions. We may restrict misuse and explain or review restrictions where appropriate.

4. Third-party services and AI

Links to ChatGPT, official databases and other sites lead to separate services governed by their terms. Maatin does not control their availability, processing or results. AI can omit, misstate or invent facts and citations. No automated output should be treated as an authoritative determination or filed without appropriate verification.

5. Accounts, subscriptions and projects

Journal subscription is free and cancellable through the email unsubscribe link. Registration forms express interest only. Future paid plans require transparent pricing, renewal, cancellation, refund, scope and provider details before purchase. No platform payment grants professional representation, a successful outcome or priority editorial treatment.

6. Contributions and intellectual property

You retain rights in your submissions and permit processing necessary to answer an enquiry. Publication of a substantive contribution requires a separate agreement on editing, attribution and permission. Maatin branding and original material remain with their respective rights holders. You may share public page links; third-party texts and databases retain their own licences.

7. Reliability and mandatory rights

We aim to correct errors but do not guarantee completeness, uninterrupted access, particular results or suitability for a specific dispute. Nothing excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits applicable consumer or data-protection rights. There is no blanket waiver of rights or compulsory arbitration term in this public-beta notice.

8. Jurisdiction notes

United States	State and federal rules and professional-licensing requirements differ; no US legal representation is offered.
United Kingdom	England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland have distinct rules; reserved legal activities require proper authorisation.
European Union / EEA	Mandatory consumer and data-protection rights remain applicable where relevant; EU-wide material does not replace national-law analysis.
Malaysia	Identify state, court and subject matter. Securities and Shariah questions may fall under distinct authorities.
Singapore	Use current Singapore law and locally authorised advice for regulated work.
Mainland China	Confirm authoritative Chinese text, applicable data rules and locally permitted service scope; this site is not a licensed mainland legal service.

9. Changes and concerns

Material changes will be dated here. Please use Contact for a concern or correction. These public-beta terms do not select an exclusive court or override mandatory local law. Professional review and operator identification are required before paid or regulated services launch.
