In ancient Egypt, Ma’at expressed truth, order and balance. Her feather became a symbol of judgment. We borrow the ethical question, not a claim to divine authority: what would an institution look like if it weighed a person’s need before their status?

Maat + in: intelligence in service.

Maatin is the name of our AI-facing identity. Its voice is calm, curious and careful: “Let us understand what is known, what is uncertain, and what needs a human decision.” This is a designed personality, not a claim of consciousness, personhood or professional qualification.

The Malaysia chapter

Malaysia gives the project its starting context: civil and criminal procedure, commercial life, securities regulation and the distinct settings of Islamic finance and state Shariah law. English is the initial editorial language. Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese and other language support require evaluation before a promise of coverage.

A society in which understanding one’s rights is abundant, reliable and accessible; an eventual interstellar civilisation that carries fairness, ecological responsibility and human dignity with it.

The 98% aspiration

The founding team intends to contribute 98% of eventual resources towards society and humanity. Before this becomes an enforceable commitment, the team must publish what “resources” means, operating reserves, beneficiaries, decision rights, conflicts, audit arrangements and annual reporting. No donation or investment is solicited through this statement.

An invisible hand, made accountable

Our philosophy imagines intelligence quietly reducing the friction of daily life. Abundance should widen participation, not concentrate power. Historic wealth can be assessed against present-day social and environmental values, but wrongdoing requires evidence and due process. We do not presume that wealth is criminal or that a person’s poverty determines the merits of a case.

From assistance to a more capable future

A future humanoid interface may help people navigate institutions. It would still need lawful authority, oversight and a route to challenge mistakes. AGI, singularity and embodied legal assistance are speculative horizons with no promised arrival date. Today, Maatin begins with accessible information and better questions.
